- Solicitation J&A NOTIFICATION OF SOLE SOURCE AWARDS Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) intends to award contracts on a sole source basis for software maintenance support to the following contractor: • ARES Corporation (8045 Leesburg Pike, #400, Vienna, VA 22182) This contracts will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The DHRA Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Office requires Vulnerability Assessments of its assets through site visits, inspections, interviews and compliance to JSIVA and DoD AT/FP Standards and software maintenance support as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements stated in the attached SOW may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirements. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice (see below). Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contracts based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. These procurements are being conducted under negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 15. Please see the attached SOW for a description of the requirements.
