- This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). The United States Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Grounds (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD 21005, awarded contract number W15P7T-11-C-S802 to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, 65 Spit Brook RD, Nashua, NH 03060-6909, in the total amount of $27,754,881 for a mixed type cost plus incentive fee contract with firm-fixed price contract lines for the Tactical Signals Intelligence Payload (TSP) issued under solicitation number W15P7T-11-R-S801 which had a closing response date of 23 June 2011. TSP is a pod configured tactical signals intelligence payload that provides the Warfighter with a comprehensive picture of electronic emitters and the ability to detect, identify, geo-locate, and copy emitters, including High Value Targets (HVTs).
