- Description
- The proposed action is for the installation of a cell phone tower/antenna in support of the Office of General Counsel at the Washington Navy Yard. Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, under FAR 13, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia intends to solicit only one source, Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless is the current provider for the Office of the General Counsel at the Washington Navy Yard. Interested parties may identify their capability to provide the required supplies. This is not a request for quotes. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, all capability information received by the designated time on 29 September 2011 will be considered by the Government. Information shall be received at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia no later than eight o'clock (Eastern Time) on 29 September 2011. All responses shall be emailed to joseph.caltagirone@navy.mil. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice.
