- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey intends to enter into a 12 month Firm-Fixed-Price contract with one optional task and three option periods on the basis of full and open competition (no set-aside used) for a baseline Content Storage Management (CSM) System for VA Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Employee Education System (EES). The contractor shall perform detailed system analysis, integration, testing, training and maintenance support for the CSM System at the EES facilities. The contractor shall deliver detailed documentation deliverables on the CSM System analysis, integration, testing and training. The contractor shall integrate the CSM System with each facility ™s pertinent storage systems, legacy third party systems and the VA EES IT Networks and Circuits. Facilities are located in St. Louis, Missouri and Washington D.C. for the base period and in Salt Lake City, Utah for the optional task. The contractor shall perform proof of performance testing on the CSM System before going online with the CSM System at each facility. This shall include proof of performance of the federated enterprise end to end file based workflow using the CSM System between the three EES facilities. The contractor shall provide in-depth training on the CSM System to all pertinent VA employees and contractors at the EES facilities before the CSM Systems go online at each facility. The contractor shall provide CSM system maintenance support during the option periods of this task. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-11-RQ-0678 and will be issued on or about October 24, 2011. An award date of no later than November 30, 2011 is desired. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code is 334113/1,000. This notification shall close on Monday, October 10, 2011. Questions/responses shall be submitted to the contract specialist at den-el.opuszynski@va.gov.
