Description
This is a Multi-NSN Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) requirement for NSN 5995-01-148-6340 and NSN 5995-01-148-6341. The procurement is authorized by IQC11194009002 procure the Cable Assembly for each NSNs; utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1); Unrestricted procedures. The approved sources of supply Simmonds Precision and Lockheed Martin; both items are deemed commercial and Critical Application Items. Both NSNs are not Export Control Items. The Annual Demand Qty for NSN 5995-01-148-6340 is 96 each and the Government required delivery schedule for this NSN is 254 days after receipt of order. NSN 5995-01-148-6341 Annual Demand Qty is 120 each and the Government required delivery schedule for this NSN is 140 days after receipt of order. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
