- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the acquisition of License Plater Reader (LPR) Barrel Cameras and Daisy Chain Battery Cables: Items and Quantities (QTY) Required: XPH-8700 LPR Barrel Camera to be fixed in construction barrel with brick PC and rechargeable battery. Should include additional battery for extended battery life. (QTY 9) Daisy Chain Battery Cable 421434 (QTY 9) The Government anticipates to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price purchase order to ELSAG North America based on best value. The vendor has proprietary rights for this required equipment under US Patent No. US7,504,965 B1. Evaluation factor(s): DELIVERY. ALL OR NONE. Price will also be evaluated. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 (June 2008) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3 (Aug 2009) Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 (June 2010) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 (July 2010) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items. All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Responses shall be submitted electronically to ryan.f.burke@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. The deadline for questions is today, August 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Quotes shall be submitted by close-of-business today, August 28, 2011 at 5:00pm EST.
