- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) is soliciting for sources for increased application support and backup retention expansion of the NIPRNET and SIPRNET systems at the Marine Corps Base sites Camp Smith,Oahu HI and Camp Pendleton,CA. The end state is to expand the existing COOP Suites located at Camp SMITH and Camp Pendleton with approximately an additional 38TB of Storage capacity for the both the SIPRNET and NIPRNET systems. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is M00318-11-T-0090. Regional Contracting Office -Hawaii (RCO-Hawaii) intends to award a firm fixed price commercial contract to the contractor submitting the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer, and is attached to this announcement. For information on how proposals will be evaluated see FAR 52.212-2 ”Evaluation of Commercial Items, M67854-11-T-0090. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation. See RFQ for Provisions and Clauses. The proposed contract is set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334112 size 1000. Offers shall be FOB Destination MCBH. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing by 12PM Hawaii Standard Time, 29 September 2011. Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: frederick.cartes@usmc.mil. No paper copies will be accepted. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments if applicable prior to the closing date and time established will render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. It is the vendor ™s responsibility to monitor the NECO system for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. Download the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) at: http://www.acq.osd.mil/dp/dars/dfars.html. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations Application is also required at http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may deem offeror ineligible for award. If there are any conflicts between this synopsis and the RFP, the RFP M67854-11-T-0090 takes precedence.
