Description
This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101 and 5.301. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Authority for this sole-source procurement is 40 U.S.C. Section 501 and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) and 8.405-6(a)(2) and 11.105. The Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) intends to issue a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This contract is intended to be issued for Oracle Primavera ProSight and Primavera Portfolio Management for maintenance and support that can only be provided by Oracle due to the proprietary nature of the software (Intellectual Property). The Period of Performance (PoP) is for 1 base year (29 September 2011 - 28 September 2012). 1910 Oracle Way, Reston VA, 20190-4733. The services are required to support the Office of the Army Chief information Officer (Army CIO / G-6), Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by Tuesday 27 September 2011 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-NCR will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Please email Todd E. Responses received after this will be considered late IAW FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be considered.
