- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Complete Parachute Solutions for the procurement of the following items: 0001 - SOV3-HH SOLO 6 Ring Parachute System x 32 each 0002 - MS-360 Hybrid Main Canopy x 36 each 0003 - TR-375 Reserve Canopy x 32 each 0004 - Cypress-2 x 32 each 0005 - XL Gear Bag x 32 each 0006 - Sov3-HH-Zip Utility Pouch x 32 each 0007- SOV3-HH-Twin 53 CU Oxygen Pouch x 32 each This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Wednesday, September 28th 2011, 1:00 p.m. MST to Branden Reagan, 355 Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707 or E-mail Branden.Reagan@dm.af.mil, phone (520)-228-3873 or fax (520)-228-5284. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notices is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected or associated with providing the capability information.
