Description
*Foreign companies will not be permitted to propose on this effort* The Air Force has a need for technical and acquisition financial management support to supplement Government organic resources in the MAPA Branch OO-ALC Hill AFB, UT. The scope of this requirement includes a wide range of diverse financial management support required in the sustainment of various equipment and weapons systems. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to, analyzing problems, identification of alternative solutions, providing recommendations, writing reports, and accomplishing specifically assigned work. The Contractor shall provide personnel that are familiar with applicable DoD Policy, Law and Regulation, Guidance, and Financial Systems required to perform the effort of the basic contract and associated task orders. The Contractor will also provide an interface or Point of Contact (POC), not to be the individual assigned to the position, to enable performance evaluation and feedback for the Government. Some tasks may include: 1) Electronic monitoring and maintaining a listing of contracting documents by modification to track status of deliverables and funding for those deliverables; 2) Verification of the accuracy of the data inputs into the various financial/payment systems; 3) Electronic matching of the funding of deliverables to identify discrepancies; 4) Report and make recommendations for the correction of discrepancies. The Contractor will research and perform funds reconciliation based upon data obtained from Government databases to include, but not limited to, GAFS BQ, J025, DIFMS, MP&E, CCaRs, ABSS, DTIMS, Share Data Warehouse, and FM Suite. Additional sources of information include Government financial offices, Program Offices, and Contractor offices will be investigated and relevant financial/contracts information retrieved where possible. The Government anticipates issuing a single award contract which includes options. The duration of this contract is anticipated for one basic year (12 months) with an additional four options (12 months each). The Government will issue a future announcement to this synopsis on how prospective bidders can obtain technical data associated with this requirement to prepare a proposal. Once formal Request for Proposal is issued, all responsible sources may submit a response which, if received timely, must be considered by the agency.
