- The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego will be issuing a solicitation for collection, holding, and transfer (CHT) cleaning services to be performed on U.S. Navy ships and other Government vessels within a 50 mile radius of San Diego, which may include Oceanside, CA. This procurement will be solicited as a total small business set aside. Only businesses designated as small under NAICS code 336611 Ship Building and Repair, will be eligible for award. The successful contractor will be required to provide the necessary management, administrative support, labor, equipment and materials to accomplish the requirement in accordance with the incorporated statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. Inspection and acceptance will be done at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The Government intends to award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period and four one-year option periods. The delivery orders will be firm-fixed price. Firms that are interested in this procurement may send an e-mail providing point of contact information. Potential offerors who provide contact information will receive a courtesy notification when the anticipated solicitation (RFP) is posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) and Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) websites.
