- This is an AMENDMENT to change the period of performance for the 'bridge contract'. Due to unanticipated delays in the acquisition process of a mobilization support services contract, the Mission and Installation contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Bliss, TX, intends to award a sole source 90 day 'bridge' contract with four options to the current Contractor; Omega Training Group (OTG), Columbus, Georgia. The anticipated award date for the bridge contract is 25 October 2011. The base period of performance on the 'bridge contract' will be 1 November through 31 January 2012 with 3 (three) one month options and the fourth option for a period of 15 days. The support services to be provided by the contract consist of deployment, re-deployment and re-stationing support to Active Component (AC); mobilization/demobilization support to Reserve Component (RC); and Medical Holdover (MHO) support to the installation units/customers in sustainment of the Fort Bliss training mission to support deploying forces. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. The determination by the government not to compete this requirement is based on only one source with the ability to provide the services within the time constraints without unacceptable delays. The justification will be made available in accordance with FAR 6.304 within 14 days after contract award.
