Description
Solicitation number, SPM4A6-12-R-0015, IQC11126009007, 6340-01-185-0002, Sensing Element, Fire Detector System. Unit of issue is each. Solicitation is unrestricted, Other than Full and Open Competition. Weapons code is 55N and the end item is Aircraft Harrier, AV-8B. Commercial in accordance with FAR part 12 and is not CSI. Approved sources of supply are The Boeing Company CAGE 76301 part number 75B500057-217 and Kidde Graviner Ltd CAGE K1536 part number 51224-127. Configuration control applies. Critical application applies. Surge and sustainment is not required. The solicitation will result in Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for one year plus for (2) option years. The Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) for the base year and for each option year thereafter is 90 each. The guaranteed minimum quantity for the base year only is 23 each. The minimum delivery order quantity for the base year and option years is 23 each. The maximum delivery order quantity for the base year and each option year is 90 each. The maximum annual contract for the base year and each option year quantity is 180 each. The requested delivery is 160 days ARO. Automated Best Value System applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon Price, Past Performance, and other Evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. FOB Destination with Inspection Acceptance at destination/destination. Shipment can be to any DLA stock location within the Continental United States (CONUS). Clause L17C01 52.217-9002 "Conditions for evaluation & acceptance of offers for part numbered items" applies. Solicitation will issue on October 12, 2011 with a closing date of November 14, 2011.
