- Modification #2 The National Park Service adds the following information to this prospectus release: The National Park Service received the following question: What is the earliest that an award letter might be sent out, with a closing date of Nov 7th for submitting the proposal? How long should the review process probably take? In response, the National Park Service posts the following: The evaluation, review and approval process requires coordinating the work of several different offices. Therefore, any time frame for release of award letters provided here is only an estimate. The National Park Service does not provide any specific date for notification. Under the current projections, the likely time frame for notification is February to March of 2012. The contract will be issued for a term of nine years and nine months, beginning April 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2021. The effective dates of the contract are subject to change prior to contract award if determined necessary by the Service. Additional questions and answers will appear at a later date if applicable. The deadline for submitting questions in writing remains the same as in the original Prospectus Release announcement.
