- TIRNO11R00047 - List of products and quantities The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a brand name firm-fixed price purchase order for the attached list, TIRNO11R00047, of software maintenance of EMC’s Documentum software. This purchase order will be made on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 (c) brand name and FAR 11.105. Documentum software is the IRS standard document management software suite and provides the IRS with Enterprise content management re to create, capture, manage, and archive the vast amount of digital content that exists across the enterprise. Content or unstructured information includes text documents, email, reports, XML, pictures/images, audio and video files, and transactional data. Software maintenance is required in order to ensure that any patches, upgrades, etc…are received. The use of EMC’s Documentum software is essential to the Government’s requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. “Equal” or comparable products will not be considered. If a vendor submits a proposal with a comparable product the vendor will not be considered for award. The vendor shall be an authorized reseller of EMC Documentum products. The Period of Performance is 09/28/2011 – 12/31/2011. The following Section 508 clauses are applicable: IR1052.239-9008 Section 508 Information, Documentation and Support (SEP 2006) and IR1052.239.9011 Section 508 Accessibility of Electronic and Information Technology (Sep 2006). Responsible sources who believe they can provide the required product shall submit a completed price proposal via email to Jennifer.N.Henley@irs.gov, no later than 3:00 pm ET on September 28, 2011. Telephone inquiries will be considered non-responsive. The award will be made on a low-price technically acceptable basis to the Offeror who meets the Government’s requirements and offers the lowest price.
