AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is V0336512507299 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333415 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2011-09-26 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Norfolk, VA 23512 The USN NAVSUP FLC Norfolk requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, 20' Refridgeration Container with a standard commercial warranty and a 1-time on-site training, which shall occur over a 2-day period, to show personnel how to conduct basic maintenance and maintenance checks on the systems. Equipment must meet or exceed the following specifications: 20" Industrial Refrigerated Container, 460V 3 Phase power. Must be capable to with stand marine shipboard operating environment containing salinity, high humidity, severe weather conditions (including wind, rain, waves, etc.) and rolling/pitch condition while ship is at sea.
