Description
Requirement Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) F1T1DE1166AC01. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 334515 and Size Standard 500 employees apply to this procurement. (v) The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with the following structure: CLIN 0001Battery Monitoring System. 1Lot (LT). (vi b) Requirement Description: Brand Name or Equal Items accepted. See attached list for further details. BTECH S5L-102024-C0-WM-TP "Or Equal" Battery Monitoring System 6 EA BTECH CQA-L0L-1112004-CT-R-A0 "Or Equal Battery Monitoring System 12 EA BTECH CQA-L0L-1212008-CT-R-A0 "Or Equal" Battery Monitoring System 2 EA BTECH S5L-302072-C0-WM-TP "Or Equal" Battery Monitoring System 1 EA BTECH CQA-L0L-1412016-CT-R-A0 "Or Equal" Battery Monitoring System 1 EA RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS. The following Federal Legal Holidays are observed by Eglin AFB. New Year's Day (1 January) Martin Luther King's Birthday (Third Monday in January) Presidents Day (Third Monday in February) Memorial Day (Last Monday in May) Independence Day (4 July) Labor Day (First Monday in September) Columbus Day (Second Monday in October) Veterans Day (11 November) Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November) Christmas Day (25 December) (vii) This commodity is due within 30 days of contract award and deliver to be made to 96 COMM, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies. The Government wil award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitgation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Quotes will be evaluated on lowest price. (x) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any statement regarding any addenda to the clause. The prescriptive language for this clause is FAR 19.1309(b). HUBZones submitting quotes for this combined synopsis/solicitation should review the clause in its entirety and note the contractor's agreement of the clause under 52.219-4(d)(2): Agreement. A HUBZone small business concern agrees that in the performance of the contract, in the case of a contract for supplies (other than procurement from a nonmanufacturer of such supplies), at least 50 percent of the cost of manufacturing, excluding the cost of materials, will be performed by the concern or other HUBZone small business concerns.
