- Sole Source Brand Name Synopsis/Solicitation The PKO Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for purchasing of Brand Name Delta Scientific Corporation DSC7000 Beam barricade under the authority of accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.5 and Subpart 6.302-1. Anticipated award date is 29 Sep 2011. The Purchase Request and Synopsis/Solicitation number is F1TTCR1220A001. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Refurbish existing Delta Scientific Corporation DSC7000 Beam Barricade. Requirements required: • DOD K 12 Protection rating - 1500lb vehicle at 45 MPH rated stop • 120 volts - remote via cable operation • K12 Arm barrier arm (beam assembly) - minimum 25 ft • Lockable in vertical and horizontal positions • Flashing Safety lights • Receiving buttress assembly • Fully down auxiliary limit switch • Battery backup (controls only) • Retrofit of buttresses reinstall • Installation of all equipment • Requirements provide from existing DSC7000: • Hydraulic Power System • One set Hydraulic Interconnect lines/barricade - 50 FT EA • Latch end post • Mounding hardware • Standard white/yellow or black/yellow paint • Complete instructions, start up and troubleshooting manual • Emergency safety override The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-53.
