- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Fort Knox intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) to provide operation of the virtual recruiting center (VRC) for the US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) to support recruiting services. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, and materials to operate the USAREC VRC, providing mission support and customer service for the Army. The contractor shall operate the VRC utilizing a variety of programs and communication platforms in support of the primary 'GoArmy.com' website. The contractor shall be responsible for facilitating all web-based recruiting solutions tied to Army Career Explorer (ACE), on-line applications on 'GoArmy.com', 'FutureSoldier.com', Army Referral System - Sergeant Major of the Army Recruiting (ARS-SMART) program at 'usarec.army.mil', and emerging social media sites. The period of performance is 7 December 2011 through 6 December 2012 with four one-year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The Federal Supply code is R426 and the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 561422 with a corresponding size standard of $7.0 million. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The RFP and all amendments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about 27 September 2011 with proposals due on or about 26 October 2011. These dates are subject to change. Contractors are reminded to check the website periodically for amendments. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Specify RFP number and include your complete firm name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number and email address. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and no paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will be issued.
