- It is the Government's intent to acquire a new supply contract on a sole-source basis to Thales Raytheon Systems (TRS). The contract will include Contract Line Item Numbers for depot maintenance, scheduled overhaul, unscheduled overhaul, and contingency operations services in order to maintain the Sentinel Radar System. The period of performance will be from date of contract award to 31 Dec 16. TRS is the sole developer of the basic, improved, and derivative Sentinel Radar System. At the present time, TRS is the only company that has the technical capability and expertise to support this effort during the required timeframe. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All requests must be in writing.
