- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office (YAO), Yuma Desalting Plant (YDP), Yuma, Arizona, 85364, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Control Systems International (CSI), Inc., 8040 Nieman Rd, Shawnee Mission, KS, 66214-1523, for DCS Onsite Support Services. Competition is restricted to only one source due to CSI's sole ability to provide software upgrades and maintenance agreements for its User Configured Operating System (UCOS), CSI's ability to train Government staff on the UCOS system at contractor facilities, and CSI's intimate knowledge of its UCOS system as implemented and developed for use at the YDP. Services required include: onsite engineering of the YDP's UCOS system, contractor training of Government personnel in the use of the UCOS at the YDP, maintenance agreements for the UCOS system as implemented at the YDP, and hardware integration services related to system development. This procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 13 procedures with an intended service period of five years beginning October 1, 2011. Anticipated award date is September 30, 2011. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. All responses received will be considered.
