- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP04171100016 for the provision of providing Life Connection Program (LCP) Courses. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan. The program provides inmates with intensive opportunities for spiritual growth and deepening their religious roots by sharing common space and programs for the purpose of personal transformation and reducing recidivism. The estimated quantity for the base year is 400 sessions per service and each option year is 480 sessions per service. A session is defined as 1 (one) hour. The number of hours per week per individual shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract performance period is anticipated to consist of a base year of Effective Date of Award - September 30, 2012 and will include four, 12-month option years for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 3, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611699, with a size standard of $7.0 million. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is October 31, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. The anticipated date of award will be approximately November 15, 2011.
