- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is FA8201-11-Q-SM0041. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set Aside. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 441221 and the Business Size Standard is $30M. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order. The items identified below shall be Brand Name or Equal IAW FAR 11.104 Description of Items: CLIN 0001 2012 Kawasaki Mule 4010 4x4 Diesel Color: Green Quantity: 4 EA CLIN 0002 Steel Cab with Steel Doors Quantity: 4 EA CLIN 0003 Heavy Duty Springs (Front) - required for cab structure Quantity: 4 Sets of 2 CLIN 0004 Heater Quantity: 4 CLIN 0005 Windshield Wipper Kit Quantity: 4 Sets of 2 CLIN 0006 Turf Tires Quantity: 4 Sets of 4 CLIN 0007 Cooling Fan Quantity: 4 EA ***The following requirements shall met to be considered equal: 1. Displacement - minimum of 953cc 2. Cargo bed weight capacity - minimum of 1100 lbs 3. Fuel tank - minimum of 6.4 gallons 4. Vehicle curb weight - no more than 1600 lbs 5. Turning radius - no more than 12 ft. Requested Delivery Date: 30-45 calendar days after receipt of award. Acceptance shall be at destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Hill Air Force Base, UT 84056 The following provisions and clauses will be incorporated into the purchase order by reference or full text: 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items The contract will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the offer. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items An offeror shall state in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) they have completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov.
