- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to SBA Towers of Boca Raton, Florida for rental of site access and antenna and equipment space support regarding DEA-owned radio equipment, repeaters and modems used in law enforcement operations. The rental will be for a base year plus four options. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by September 26, 2011. Point of contact is Sarah Gorter, email Sarah.E.Gorter@usdoj.gov. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with SBA Towers. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5 (Apr 2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at this internet address - www.acquisition.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 515120. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request of Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
