- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service intendes to increase the contract ceiling on contract DG133W-09-CQ-0024 with Reston Consulting Group (RCG) by $1M to procure technical, engineering and scientific services for the 6-month period ending April 28, 2012. The services are in support of the NWS Dissemination Systems Branch requirement to operate and maintain critical systems for public alerts and warnings. This increase serves to bridge the period until the follow on contract is awarded. The authority for this sole source increase is FAR 6.302-1 where services are deemed available from only one responsible source when the duplication of costs to the Government for the 6-months of service is not likely to be recovered by competition. This notice is published in accordance with FAR 5.203. Any interested party may submit comments to the contracting officer for consideration prior to the response date.
