- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 001 TO THECOMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR VEILUXCLASS 1 DIVISION 2 EXPLOSION PROOF HD CAMERA AND ACCESSORIES. Companies shallacknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendmentto subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate a 100% Small Business Set-Aside inaccordance with FAR 19.502-2 Total small business set-asides. (a) Before setting aside an acquisition under this paragraph, refer to 19.203(b). Eachacquisition of supplies or services that has an anticipated dollar value exceeding $3,000($15,000 for acquisitions as described in 13.201(g)(1)), but not over $150,000 ($300,000for acquisitions described in paragraph (1) of the Simplified Acquisition Thresholddefinition at 2.101), is automatically reserved exclusively for small business concernsand shall be set aside for small business unless the contracting officer determines thereis not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible smallbusiness concerns that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery.and to include an amended SF1449 stating that fact.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on September 23, 2011. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
