- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for Catholic Chaplain Services to be furnished to the VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO. Contractor shall provide Catholic pastoral services to include weekly Mass every Saturday, pastoral care to patients, family members and staff on Wednesdays and Saturdays, call back services as needed and Catholic Priest Services on all Holy Days of obligation. Qualifications include: Ordained Catholic Priest in diocese or religious order of the Roman Catholic Church; Citizen of the United States; endorsed to Veterans Affairs chaplaincy by the appropriate adjudicatory; and preferred completion of two or more units of Clinical Pastor Education and VA experience. The NAICS code is 813100 and has a size standard of $7.0 Million. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This is a Firm, Fixed Price procurement and will be procured using commercial item procedures and award will be based on price and technical factors identified in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price for a base period anticipated to be effective 10/1/11 through 9/30/12 with option to extend four (4) additional years.
