Description
The purpose of this requirement is to seek qualified contractors to perform janitorial services for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Greenville Spartanburg (GSP) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) located in Greer, South Carolina. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about December 1, 2011, for a base period of ten (10) months with four (4) one year option periods. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, the size standard is: $16.5 Million In accordance with AMS Clause 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (April 1996), Prospective offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the services are to be performed. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a dispute after contract award. A site visit has been schedule for the 29th of September 2011 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. De Jesus, ASO-52ATL 1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park GA. 30337 The offer must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled as follows: Solicitation # DTFAEN-12-R-00006, due 5:00 p.m. EST, October 11, 2011. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office.
