- LodgingJandA This is a Modification to the Special Notice to include the Justification and Approval document. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of the Army, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC-WSMR), Contracting Office at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, 88002, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, intends to award sole source to InterContinental Hotel Groups, Building 501, White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002 to provide lodging for the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force personnel for the 2011 Chu-SAM Mission scheduled on White Sands Missile Range on 01-31 Oct 2011. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources capable of meeting the requirement must submit a Capability Statement by 6:00 am MDT on 26 September 2011. Point of contact for this notice is Monica E.
