- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Services, Appalachian Farming Systems Research Center intends to award a purchase order to Dionex Corporation, 1228 Titan Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4015, on a sole source basis, a Ion Chromatography System. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1); only known manufacturer that can satisfy the government's need. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Specifications of the required system includes the following: 1 069576 ICS-2100 (Pump, Degasser, Eluent Generator, Injection Valve, Column Heater, Conductivity Detector, Touchscreen Display), shipkit. 1 074921 AS-AP Autosampler, Base Configuration, 1 074123 Valve Assembly, includes one 2 way 6-port Valve and Mounting Hardware, 3 074936 AS-AP 1.5/0.3 mL Vial Tray, 5 061696 Vial Kit, 1.5ml Polypropylene with Caps and Septa, Pkg of 100, 3 960708 Power Cord US, 1 076042 RETURN and RECYCLE, 1 076039 Customer training via vebex, 1 300001 Installation Modular IC System with Single Pump Setup incl. Operation Orientation, 1 069659 ICS-2100 (Pump, Degasser, Eluent Generator, Injection Valve, Column Heater, Conductivity Detector, Touchscreen Display), shipkit, Chromeleon CHM-2, 1 071742 Workstation Upgrade: Chromeleon 6.6 to Chromeleon 7.1 The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered. If no responses are received by 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time, 23, 2011, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with Dionex Corporation.
