- J&A Notice of Intent for Sole Source of Manoscan360 Z EG Workstation System Pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Given Imaging, Inc. in the amount of $63,000.00 to purchase the Manoscan360 Z EG Workstation System, including components, located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. The Manoscan360 Z EG Workstation System is a unique patented piece of equipment, manufactured in the United States. This equipment is the only piece of equipment that meets all needs and requirements of the Gastroenterology Clinic. High resolution catheter has circumferential measurements which were not found with the Solar unit. This equipment is what the clinical members are already trained to use. The Manoscan360 Z EG Worstation System is manufactured and distributed by Given Imaging, Inc. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist; Ms. Christina McMurtry, christina.mcmurtry@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
