- Synopsis: The US Forest Service intends to negotiate a sole source contract with HPS Construction for the installation of eight (8) Antennas at specified elevations on the newly constructed AT&T tower located on Mt. Emily, La Grande, OR for the USDA Forest Service. This work involves the purchase of specified antennas, materials, and supplies for the installation of eight (8) antennas at designated locations on the tower, which also contains lightning protection, provides cable management onto the waveguide ladder, ultimately providing a connector internal of the shelter for each antenna installed. The contractor shall provide documentation, labeling, and test results for each of the eight (8) antennas installed. AT&T has only approved HPS Construction to complete ALL work on the tower. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within (1) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer James GMC. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Forest Service will proceed with the sole source negotiation with HPS Construction.
