- Sole Source justification DESCRIPTION: The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Opnet Technologies, Inc., 7255 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814, to provide software and support services for one year. Opnet Technologies is the only source that can provide the Opnet software maintenance and provide updates and technical support on the software. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received by the response date of this solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 511210.
