- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District is soliciting for quotes to provide Off-Site Storage and Retrieval of St. Paul District Data Tapes. The solicitation number W912ES-11-T-0132 is issued as a small business set-aside. Quote must be for one base year and four option years. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The requirement calls for offsite storage of the Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District tapes. These tapes contain copies of all computer systems and data. The contractor must be within the Minneapolis, St. Paul metro area due to the fact that the St. Paul District Corps of Engineers must have 24 hour access to the tape storage and delivery. The contractor shall furnish to the COE all services, labor, materials and equipment to carry out work to maintain, pickup and deliver tape storage. All work shall be done in accordance with the Scope of Work and Dept. of Labor wage determination 05-2287 (Rev. 11) and the storage facility must meet all National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements. Award will be made to the offeror with the ability to fulfill the aggregate of the requirements. The resultant contractor will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated contract start date will be 01 OCT 2011. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns and the size standard is $25.5 million dollars. The associated NAICS code is 493190. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry database located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the Government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
