Description
This is a sources sought announcement only and is not a request for proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Service Area Office (SAO) East is seeking to determine availability of small business concerns with the capability to provide an OMAG/OCT system to the San Francisco VA Medical Center. The following statement of work is offered for information only. This is not all inclusive but rather a general idea of the type and magnitude of the requirement. 1.Microstructure and microcirculation imager engine OMAG/OCT system including: 1310nm light source with 170 nm bandwidth providing <6 microns spatial resolution, 92,000 lines per second acquisition speed and display, at least 200 frames per second imaging rate and display; QuadCore CPU w/12GB RAM and 2TB mirrored HD; 24" monitor; optical probe for mouse brain imaging. Other features include microstructural imaging with spatial resolution < 6 microns; providing blood flow imaging at capillary level with spatial resolution < 6 microns; minimum sensitivity to the blood flow <10 microns per second. 1.0EA 2.Isolation optical platform to host OMAG/OCT system 1.0EA 3.Stereotaxic stage 1.0EA 4.Non-contact optical microscope stage custom modified to work together with OMAG/OCT system 1.0EA 5.System assembly and labor cost, including software development for special needs to image microcirculation in brain in mice 1.0EA 6.Installation and training 1.0EA Firms with interest and capability to respond to this requirement should develop a short narrative including relevant experience and other information indicating and evidencing capability to successfully meet the aforementioned requirements.
