- Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: 16 September 2011 Water Rescue Craft This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This is a request for information. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The purpose of the proposed acquisition is to identify qualified organizations that can provide and deliver to Hurlburt Field, FL these items: 01-Guardian Angel Rescue Craft (QTY: 5 EACH) Specifications are as follows: -3.6 Meter Advanced Composite Fiberglass Hull -3.6 Meter Aluminum Hull -143 HP Weber Engine: Waterjet -110 HP FNM Diesel Engine: Waterjet -Insturment Panel: Hr Meter, Speedometer, Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Ammeter Wiring Harness, Performance Throttle Cables, Key Switch -Flexible Tail Flap -Battery Switch; Emergency Engine Start from Auxiliary Battrey Bank -12V DC Alternator/Starter -Rescue Handrail -Four Waterproof storage compartment -Soft Non-Skid deck -2 Hull Drains -12 V 20 Amp Hour Accessory Battery -Oxygen tank and rack -Stainless steel fasteners -30 Gallon Ethanol resistant Rotocast Fuel Tank -30 Gallon Ethanol resistant Rotocast Fuel Tank with fuel cell foam -30 Gallon Flexible Fuel Bladder (Military Spec) -24 VDC system for electronics -LED running lights -Bilge Pump 1500 GPH, Military Spec Auto Float Switch with Manual Override -Dash Mounted Compass -Tactronic Intergrated Navigation GPS System -Custom Built to Fit Aluminum Trailer - 15" Radial Tires, Upgraded Axel & Springs All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company's capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, past experience, business status (small, large, 8A, veteran owned etc.) Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organizations qualifications to provide the service/product. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.. All capability statements sent in response to this Request for Information notice must be submitted, electronically (via email), to william.farr@hurlburt.af.mil. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey.
