- Synopsis For Houston Ship Channel, Texas, Redfish to Bayport in Harris County and Chambers County, TX Solicitation No. W912HY-12-B-0002 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for pipeline dredging of approximately eight (8) miles of the Houston Ship Channel with confined disposal placed into Midbay Disposal Area; approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of maintenance material; 450,000 CY/month. Period of Performance is 150 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation issued will be firm fixed price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 3 October 2011. Response date is 4 Nov 2011 @2:00 PM. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million.
