- Stevens Institute of Technology(Stevens Institute/Contractor) will conduct research related to critical S&T associated with the development of high speed supercavitating vehicles. The areas addressed are advanced vehicle control schemes, and areas that could affect vehicle stability such as the use of advanced adaptive cavitators and control/guidance. The approach will consist of modeling, water tunnel tests, and tests with the 6.75 inch free running models. Electronics, launch systems, power subsystems, sensing and actuation systems, vehicle control system and autopilot algorithms will be developed, fabricated, and tested.
