- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC has arequirement For Antenna services and alarm issues retest. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Contract to VIASAT SATELLITE NETWORKS, the manufacturer of product. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. VIASAT SATELLITE NETWORKS., located 1725 BRECKIN RIDGE PLZ, DULUTH, GA, 30096 is the sole manufacturer of the required equipment. Award is anticipated by 19 September 2011. Contract is to be FOB Destination Receiving Officer, Ft. Bragg, NC. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The contract line item number (CLIN ) and Description for this procurement are: ** CLIN 0001 Antenna services CLIN 0002 Alarm issues retest. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The following tasks in association with SPAWAR Systems Center - Atlantic to troubleshoot, repair, test and document the (3) 7.3 meter Antenna Systems of the Product Distribution System fixed site (PDS-F) located on Ft, Bragg NC. SAT to refresh the system baseline and verify levels at indoor equipment and iDirect hub are within acceptable standards.The contractor will update the cabling diagram and documentation. The documentation and drawings to be revised and delivered include: a. Indoor interconnecting diagram to reflect modem rack and iDirect configuration b. Indoor interconnecting diagram with updated rack layout The contractor will troubleshoot and repair all alarms within the Antenna M&C system and the Uplink Power Controller. If hardware repair or replacement is required, it will be the responsibility of the Government. GUI will be updated to reflect removal of Rack A5 items while maintaining a single DMD-15 MODEM for testing. Display will also be updated to show correct C-band polarization. The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the brand name service cited above and will award a Contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quote is due to Ornette Adams, Contract Specialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, ATLANTIC by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, 19th September, 2011. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
