- Digital Video Laboratory (DVL) II Solicitation Number: FA9200-11-R-DVL II NAICS: 541712 The Air Armament Center (AAC), Directorate of Contracting, Enterprise Acquisition Division (PKE), Test and Evaluation Contracting Branch (PKET), Eglin AFB, FL intends to increase the contract ceiling from $49,500,000.00 to $85,000,000.00 on a sole source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to SRI International - 333 Ravenswood Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025-3453. The requirement is for the contractor to provide enhancements to existing still and motion image processing tools. The contractor will also provide image processing, archiving, and retrieval tools, turnkey prototype systems, support test and training activities, image compression/transmission techniques, and conduct imaging sensor development. The anticipated award date is mid-October. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this effort is 541712 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for research and development items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
