- Description
- The U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region intends to award a sole-source contract for Security Guard Services to State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Division of Flood Management, P.O. Box 942836, Sacramento, California. This is a follow-on to the original agreement and the required services are only available from DWR, the primary tenant. Authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. DWR is uniquely qualified to fulfill the requirements of this contract. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interest and capability statements must be received by the Government no later than September 16, 2011 by 5:00pm PST to be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561612; Size Standard is $18.5 Million. Solicitation R11PS20311 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about September 15, 2011. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is September 21, 2011. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed.
