- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA118-11-RQ-0646 and is issued as a request for quote. Quotes are due to be in receipt by this office not later than September 20, 2011 at 3:00 PM EST. This action is being solicited on a Sole Source basis under authority 41 U.S.C.253(c) (1) as implemented by the FAR Subpart 6.302-1 entitled "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The intended source is Getty Images, 8300 Greensboro Drive, Suite 250, McLean, VA 22102, as they are the owner of ThinkStock Flex 250 subscriptions. These subscriptions shall provide the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the latest clipart, graphics, photos, illustration, videos and music files to support the development of training material, flyers, announcements, brochures and ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) regulations. The proposed action is on a firm fixed price basis for the procurement of a ThinkStock Flex 250 subscription, for access and licensing permissions for photos, videos and music for seven (7) users. The period of performance will be from date of award through 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. The place of delivery is: Department of Veterans Affairs 728 TJ Jackson Drive Falling Waters, WV 25419 The Contracting Officer (CO) named herein will maintain the contract administration functions for this contract.
