- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with General Electric Aviation Systems, Vandalia, OH (GE Vandalia) for one (1) base year and two (2) option years. The agreement will provide a contract vehicle for the procurement of supplies and services to sustain and upgrade the Generator Convertor Unit (GCU) for the United States Navy F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft programs under Program Manager Air 265 (PMA265). Description of Supplies/Services: The supplies and/or services for this effort, to be procured during Fiscal Years (FYs) 2012 through 2014, may include the following: a) Engineering Change Proposals b) Generator Converter Unit upgrades c) Non-recurring engineering (i.e. kits, installation, and prototypes) d) Product improvements e) Studies f) Training g) Technical reports These supplies and services are required to improve the reliability and availability of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft in order to meet current and future fleet demands.
