- REQUEST FOR QUOTE DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: installation of new door hardware, door release devices, smoke detectors, wiring to the existing building Notifier Panel /fire alarm system A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The RFQ #SA1301-11-1422LW is and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a small business set-aside under the NAICS code of 561621 and/or Product Service Codes (PSC) J063, L063, N063. All quotes must be emailed to: RFQ # SA1301-11-1422LW Linda Willis, Contracting Officer @lwillis@doc.gov Quotes are due no later than September 23, 2011 AT 2:00 P.M., EDT. The scope of this effort includes the installation of new door hardware, door release devices, smoke detectors, wiring to the existing building Notifier Panel /fire alarm system located in room 1029, and all required testing to ensure compliance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 101. An itemized report of all devices shall be generated that include the model and location of the devices as well as any deficiencies.
