- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's Chief of Office (PBGC) intends to solicit and award a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 14.105, FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" utilizing the Simplified Acquisition method as described in FAR Part 13.106 with AT &T Corporation, for the purchase of local telephone services for Field Benefit Administration, Jacksonville, FL. The period of performance is October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 subject to FAR Part 32.703-2. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within two calendar days after publication of this synopsis. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Monday, 19 September 2011, 2:00 PM EST to Jessica Carrillo, Contract Specialist via email at carrillo.jessica@pbgc.gov Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for Corporation will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
