- W91ZLK-11-T-0448 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation Multiple Award Schedule Program (FAR 8.401). Reference Federal Supply Schedules, Limited Sources Justification and Approval FAR PART 8.405-6 (b), (c), (d)(1), (g), for under the simplified acquisition threshold. Also in accordance with FAR PART 11.105. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013, has a requirement to procure the following items: Item(s): - Abaqus Standard Software License (Abaqus/CFD, Abaqus/Aqua, Abaqus/Design. License type: OT1-Annual. 13 total tokens included) - Abaqus/CAE Software License (License type: OT1 Annual. 2 tokens included) The intended delivery date for the item(s) is September 30th, 2011. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Computer Marketing Associates, Inc. This firm is the sole distributor of the product in the United States and no other source will satisfy the Government's requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $25M. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 21th, 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
