- U.S Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Handling Systems Inc., 106 Park South Court, Nashville TN 37210 for twenty (20) C-5 Adapter Assembly (P/N 1651, 1652 and 1653) for the MH-60L Aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for items that are exclusively manufactured by Handling Systems Inc. and they retain all the data rights for repair and upgrade. The Government does not own the drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item, or equal, are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice is not a request for quotes, however, the Government will consider all quotes received by the specified due date, in accordance with FAR 5.203(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Code is 336413; the Business Size is 1000 employees. DFARs clause 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation applies.
