- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Education Assessment Materials 2 Solicitation# HE602111RCC0076 This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis to allow for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 611710. This is a brand name or equal purchase. As such, the provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal (AUG 1999) applies to this RFQ. The brand name, manufacturer, and part numbers/model numbers, along with the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that "equal" products must be met. Please see the attached "Item List" for the items being acquired. The Contractor shall provide all items F.O.B. destination to: DoDDS-E Area Office Special Education Division Attn: Aaron Marsters UNIT 29649 Box 7000 APO AE 09002-7000 The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of offers submitted. Vendors are encouraged to check the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website at http: www.fbo.gov for any amendments to this solicitation. The cut-off date for all questions is 10:00 A.M. CEST (Central European Summer Time) on 19 September 2011. Questions must be submitted in writing via email to nate.dowdle@eu.dodea.edu.Questions will not be accepted after this cutoff date/time. Quotes must be submitted not later than 10:00 A.M. CEST on 19 September 2011. No late quotes will be considered. The offer's quote must be submitted electronically via email to nate.dowdle@eu.dodea.edu. Email limitation is 5MB per email. Offers may need to submit their quote over several emails to account for the 5MB limitation. No other form of submission will be accepted. If you are a suitable vendor for the requirement and do not provide a quote, it is requested that you submit a "No Bid" response. It is also requested that you include a brief statement as to why you are unable to submit a quote in response to this solicitation.
