Description
Fall Festival As the only active duty base in the LA area, Los Angeles Air Force Base (LA AFB) is home of the 61st Air Base Group and Space and Missile Systems Center - the Air Force's premier space acquisition center. Located in the heart of the city near LAX, LA AFB is home to military and their families, and employs nearly 4,000 civilian personnel. The Fall Festival is a free event for our military community and their families to celebrate the fall season with food, activities, entertainment and more. This event will draw a crowd of over 1,000 people. This is a great opportunity to raise customer awareness of your company with this exclusive military demographic. Sponsorship is fundamental to the success of this event. Los Angeles AFB invites you to join in supporting the morale, welfare and recreation of our military and their family members by becoming a commercial sponsor for the October 22, 2011, Fall Festival. Sponsorship may take the form of monetary or in-kind contributions. In appreciation for your sponsorship, your company will receive public recognition and exposure. The level of exposure is determined by the level of sponsorship, with all sponsors prominently acknowledged throughout the event. Sponsor exposure may include name and logo recognition on all event print media, including posters, signage, banners, brochures, pictures and media coverage. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received no later than 26 September 2011. All offers will be considered. Under paragraph 4.1 of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 34-407, we are unable to solicit sponsorship from alcohol or tobacco companies, or from defense contractors, including their affiliates, subcontractors, teaming partners, or joint venture partners. Depending on the circumstances, unsolicited sponsorship offers may be accepted if those offers are not in conflict with existing contracts, memorandums of agreement or understanding, or detrimental to business relationships between military and existing civilian contractors. Unsolicited offers are not accepted from barred contractors. If your company is disqualified due to the above criteria, we ask that you do not respond to this sponsorship solicitation. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a non appropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government and does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government. POC For more information contact Kelli Hylton at (310) 653-5123 or at kelli.hylton@losangeles.af.mil
