Description

Brand name justification. Solicitation for the purchase of various MS desktop and server software and one year of software assurance. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Defense Security Assistance Development Center (DSADC) has a requirement for Microsoft Exchange 2010, System Center, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server, Office 2010, Windows 7, Project and Visio. All of the software required shall include one year of Sofware Assurance (SA). In addition, one year of SA is required for existing WinServer software. The procurement of the software will allow DSCA to upgrade several existing Microsoft software packages. Only Microsoft resellers with a DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) contract will be considered for award of this contract. The item descriptions for the Microsoft desktop and server software, and software assurance are outlined in the attached RFQ. A brand name Justification & Approval (J&A) is also attached.
